Conclave '0930th Anniversary CelebrationI've set up this page to answer a few questions about the "Warriors Conclave '09" event. Q. What is the Warriors Conclave '09 Event?
A. 2009 marks the 30th Anniversary of The Warriors and it has been suggested that there should be some celebration to mark the event, in a similar way that Jawsfest did for the movie Jaws. This would involve a peaceful meeting of fans in New York from across the world to follow the route taken by The Warriors from NYC to Coney Island. It is also hoped that some of the original cast / crew will be available for a signing event. Q. When is it?
A. The Warriors Conclave '09 event is still in a conceptual phase and nothing is definite. If it is to go ahead then there is a lot of work to do between now and 2009! If it does go ahead, then it'll likely be during the summer of 2009. Q. Who will attend?
A. Aside from the scores of fans who wish to pay homage to the film, we would like to get a few cast members along too. We can probably get in touch with a few of the major characters and some of the minor ones, but nothing has been aranged yet. Q. How much will is cost?
A. We will not be making a profit from this event but we will need to cover costs so there is likely to be a charge. Q. When will more information become available?
A. The forum staff will elect a committee who will be responsible for planning and organising the event. Please do not contact us about being on the committee.
