 The roughest and toughest Warrior. He didn't get on with Swan being war chief, protesting that he wanted to be the war lord. He fought off the Baseball Furies in the park. He likes to swear and call the other Warriors faggots if they don't approve of his sexual appetite for women. This proves to be his downfall as he attempts to rape an undercover policewoman in the park, leading to his arrest.

Cleon - Dorsey Wright |
 Cleon was the war chief prior to Swan. He picked out 8 fellow Warriors to head up to The Bronx for the meeting with Cyrus and all the other gangs. Unfortunately, Luther frames Cleon for killing Cyrus and gets killed by the Riffs. In a deleted scene from the movie, we see Cleon talking to the gang, and why he picked them out of a street family of 120, plus affiliates. In this scene we also see Lincoln who is Cleon's girlfriend who has a bad feeling about them going to The Bronx.

Cochise - David Harris |
 Cochise is a good fighter who shows off his cool moves whilst fighting the Punks. Gets seduced by The Lizzies and almost gets shot and slashed by a flick-knife. Cochise shows a deeper side of thought by reflecting on the speech made by Cyrus.

Cowboy - Tom McKitterick |
 The cheeriest member of The Warriors but doesn't really say or do much until the fight with the Punks. He wears a cowboy hat (which the others steal from him in the train on the way to The Bronx). He asks a lot of questions about Cyrus. He also gets beaten up by one of the Baseball Furies.

The Fox - Thomas G Waites |
 The Fox witnesses Luther shooting Cyrus and almost gets shot hiself. He is one of the smartest Warriors who helps Swan negotiate with the Orphans. He is cautious and keeps a cool head and calls Mercy a whore. Unfortunately for him, he gets thrown in front of a subway train by a cop.

Mercy - Deborah Van Valkenburgh |
 Originally a member of the Orphans but finds herself with The Warriors soon after they meet. She doesn't mind though as she wants to see some "real action". Mercy is a prostitute and we find out a lot about her life and aspirations throughout the film.

Rembrandt - Marcelino Sanchez |
 This afro-toting Warrior is the artist (hence the name!) who uses a spray can to tag places where The Warriors have been. Rembrandt also uses the spray can to fight off the Punks by spraying the leader in the face. He gets cut by The Lizzies (even though he was the cautious one who could sense that something wasn't quite right). Rembrandt gets injured and left behind frequently!

Snowball - Brian Tyler |
 Snowball is a very good fighter and displays some good moves in the subway station when they are fighting the Punks and also shows strength when fighting the Baseball Furies. The name Snowball is often shortened to Snow. Snow's not only a good fighter but has good knowledge of other gangs. Snow is the music man and can be seen carrying "the beat box" at the start of the movie.

Swan - Michael Beck |
 Becomes the war chief after Cleon gets killed. Leads the Warriors back to Coney Island with a well thought out plan. Keeps his cool and is a good fighter. He stabs Luther with a knife on the beach at Coney Island whilst dodging Luther's shot. Swan secides that he will probably take off as Coney didn't appear too welcoming - "This is what we fought all night to get back to?". He also has an on-off relationship with Mercy over the course of the night.

Vermin - Terry Michos |
 Vermin is always on edge and moans about getting 'japped', being killed and just about everything else. He gets three of The Warriors into trouble with The Lizzies as he was the one who decided to go and chat them up. Vermin has some comical phrases such as "hurt me, hurt me" and "When I got off that subway and I saw you, I thought, oh baby throw it my way!".

 The leader of the Baseball Furies doesn't actually say anything although he does give an evil smile to Ajax right before he gets busted in the park. "I'll shove that bat up your ass and turn you into a popsicle".

 Has one line which is "Hey, what about the money you owe?". As her name suggests, she works in a candy store. She looks on as the Rogues take stuff from the counter without paying.

 Cropsey is second in command to Luther (leader of the Rogues). He's more concerned that the Riffs are going to hunt down their asses since they were responsible for killing Cyrus. Luther however keeps on telling him that everything will be okay.

Cyrus - Roger Hill |
 Cyrus is the president of the Riffs which is the largest gang in New York. He arranged a meeting in Van Courtlandt Park in The Bronx to spread his big idea to the other gangs in the city. His idea was to get the gangs to make a truce, and form one large gang which could overpower the police, and run the city. During his speech, he gets shot by Luther, for which The Warriors are framed.

 Appears throughout the film updating the gangs via radio as to the current situation on the big hunt for The Warriors. "The Baseball Furies dropped the ball, made an error. Our friends are on second base and are trying to make it all the way home,".

 Lincoln is only seen in some TV versions of the film which include the deleted opening scene. She is concerned for Cleon who is her boyfriend, saying that she doesn't want him getting into anything heavy in the Bronx. She slowly follows behind The Warriors as they walk up the boardwalk at Coney.

The Lizzies Leader - Lisa Maurer |
 The Lizzies meet Vermin, Cochise and Rembrandt when they arrive at Union Square subway station. Vermin instantly takes a fancy to the leader of The Lizzies and she takes them back to their HQ. She has a gun and tries to shoot The Warriors but is a poor shot and misses them all.

Luther - David Patrick Kelly |
 This is the guy who shot Cyrus (for no reason, he just likes doing things like that!) He gets drives around in an old hearse which is covered in graffiti. He blames Cleon for shooting Cyrus which causes all the gangs in the city to be on the lookout for The Warriors. Luther and his gang report home every now and then to get the latest news as to The Warriors whereabouts, and then try to find them. "Warriors, come out to play!" is one of the most famous line from the movie and is screeched by Luther whilst he clangs together glass bottles on his fingers.

Masai - Edward Sewer |
 Masai takes over from Cyrus as the leader of the Riffs. He appears throughout the movie when he informs his gang that he wants The Warriors "alive if possible, if not, wasted!". He is also updated as to the whereabouts of The Warriors via gangs that are on their network. "We just heard from the Turnbulls - they blew it". Please note that the movie credits this role to Dennis Gregory, which is incorrect.

Orphans Leader - Paul Greco |
 Leader of the Orphans who at first gets a little lippy with The Warriors for invading their turf, but is persuaded by Swan and The Fox to let them through. However, Mercy stirs up some trouble and the Orphans come running after The Warriors with weapons such as razor blades. "You see what you get when you mess with The Orphans!".

Orphan - Apache Ramos |
 The Orphan with the huge afro is second in command to the leader. He makes the point that to The Warriors that the Orphans have a heavy reputation by showing newspaper clippings of their raids. He appears later on wielding a weapon, and looks surprised when he sees a molotov cocktail being lit.

Policewoman - Mercedes Ruehl |
 She was the undercover policewoman in the park who gets Ajax to sit and chat with her. Ajax gets rough after she asks him to show her how he plays with the chicks, causing her to handcuff him to the park bench and arrest him.

 The leader of the Punks wears rollerskates and follows Swan around Union Square station. Rembrandt sprays red paint in his face at the start of the fight in the bathroom. The Punks leader carries a knife which Swan later uses to stab Luther.
