Crew In Shot |
Believe it or not, but the entire film crew can be seen as The Warriors run from the Turnbull ACs. See a bigger image by clicking here.
Cowboy's Hat |
When Cowboy gets beaten up by the yellow Baseball Fury, Cowboy's hat falls off. Yet in the next shot when he gets hit again and falls to the ground, his hat is on his head.
Orphans Hanging Around |
When The Warriors are confronting Mercy just after they walked through The Orphans territory, you can see The Orphans hanging around in the background. You can see them when Swan steps up close to Mercy. A few seconds later The Orphans come running down the street. (Thanks to R. Contreras for pointing this out).
Cop Hat |
When The Fox gets caught by the cop, the cop's hat falls off, then it's back on his head, then you can see the hat appear in different places during the struggle. |

Action |
Whilst Luther is clicking the bottles together in the famous scene, you can hear the director say "David, action" right before he starts chanting. You can hear it in one of the sound clips.
Vermin's Whereabouts |
When The Warriors meet The Lizzies, Cochise smiles as he watches Vermin kiss one of the girls. As the camera changes to Rembrandt, we see Vermin walking around in the background with what looks like a pool cue.
Red Spray Paint |
Rembrandt sprays a clear mist into the Punk leader's face even though it is supposed to be red spray paint (they're not going to do it for real are they!). However, note the perfect clean circles around the Punk's eyes!
Changing Spray Paint Can |
Rembrandt's spray can changes three times throughout the movie (and he only had the one can!). |
Fox Double |
Thomas Waites walked out of the movie production forcing producers to use a grip as a double. This is clear when watching the movie as the double blatantly tries to hide his face when running with Mercy. His voice doesn't sound like Thomas Waites either.
Mercy's Hair |
In the same scene as above, Mercy has short hair whilst running down the stairs and at the bottom it is long! (Hair does not grow that fast!).
Ajax And..? |
At the start of the movie, Ajax asks The Fox if they'll be able to "waste a few heads along the way".
However it is not The Fox ... but Cleon, who answers "you just soldier and keep your mouth shut!".
Rembrandt In The Graveyard |
In the graveyard scene, we see Rembrandt at the top of this statue looking for the train station.
In the next shot with Swan, Rembrandt is still climbing up the statue.
The J Train |
When The Warriors are hiding from The Turnbull ACs, their train goes by overhead. This is a 'J' train which didn't go through this part of the city.
Also, the return home is on a BMT train marked "RR" (internal shot with blind visible) - In 1979 this is believed to have been the line that went to Bay Ridge - nowhere near Coney Island and certainly nowhere near 14th St. (Thanks to David Smith for pointing this out).
Fox Fall |
When The Fox is thrown on to the train tracks by the cop, you can see that the actor hits a mat as his leg stops still and he's too high up to be on the track.
