Action Figures

Series Two Figures  

These are not technically series 2 since Mezco Toyz have gone back to the drawing board to create these brand new figures which are much more realistic, articulate and way cooler than the first series. Confirmed in the first line are the Orphan's Leader (Sully), Swan, Ajax and the Red/Black Baseball Fury. These will be released in turn. The first available was the Fury in a very limited run of 200 figures. Next up is Sully.

Series One Figures

Mezco Toyz have made action figures from The Warriors movie. All the figures come in a protective plastic clamshell package. If you decide to remove them from their packaging, the figures can be articulated into any position. Full details and photos can be found below. Series one is now available to buy and in the set there is:

Swan
[bowie knife, switchblade, lead pipe and spray can]

Cleon
[nunchucks, rumble chain and spray can]

Cochise
[molotov cocktail, wooden board with nails and spray can]

Ajax
[no weapons as is heavy muscle]

Luther
[handgun, broken bottle and bottles]

Baseball Fury
[2 baseball bats (one broken)]

Purple Baseball Fury

Mezco is producing 1,500 purple Baseball Furies which will be sold exclusively through Toywiz.com from November and is available in clean and dirty styles.

Blue Baseball Fury

In addition to the series one figures, there is a further baseball fury variant. This is a limited edition with a blue face and there are only 205 of them! They were produced for the San Diego Comic Con 2005.

Bootleg Figures

This is a Tech Deck Dude called Cheeze who appears to be modelled on a cross between Cleon and Ajax. Reading the back of the box confirms that this is based on The Warriors. You can pick this up from Target in the US for $3.99.

These Bounty Hunters / Furies are extremely rare and seem to be floating around Japan. It looks like you get three Baseball Furies which actually look quite good.

Custom Action Figures

Here's an action figure of a Baseball Fury, created by Jim Abucewicz. It was apparently a hit at a movie convention. After seeing the pic, I can see why! The second Fury is a custom figure made by Johnny.

Lionsring and Co. Custom Figures

Lions (aka "LIONS ON THE RED CARPET" in the forum) certainly deserves his own section as he's made loads of custom figures and says there are more on the way. If only these could be bought in the shops! Here's a photo of the Mezco Series 1 figures with some of his customs (Cropsey and a load of different Furies).
